Not like in the movies and come to think about it - i knew this for a while now - life in general ain't. But I frankly can't say I'm disappointed with this. It occured to me some time ago that the whole point of living is taking what's being offered to you without complaining, regreting or denying yourself just that.
My last relationship thought me that on top of anything else. I guess I've learned my lesson and I didn't screw this one up. The past I've lived, this present I'm experiencing, the unknown future... In times like these you almost feel the order of your whole chaotic paths you've battered since you took your very first breath. No. It's not like the movies. No one tells you what happens to the prince and princess after their wedding, just that they lived happily ever after. No one knows if they had babies, if they fought a dozen times a day, or if they just divorced and got to the ever after part with other people... It's all about fighting for what you need, realizing what you want, communicating and cherishing every single moment. It's about finding your balance in yourself and the strenght in your partner. It's about realizing what you have next to you and the will to never lose it. It's all about love.
Congratulations! :)
